Welcome to Parcel Cottage!
Set in the delightful heart of the seaside village of Heacham, Parcel Cottage is a well appointed two bedroom Grade II listed traditional carrstone cottage. Parcel Cottage offers a wonderful base for your next adventure or relaxing break.
Recently lovingly renovated to a high standard, Parcel Cottage offers accommodation for up to 4 guests and one small to medium sized well behaved dog. With one enchanting large bedroom with a king sized four poster bed and one charming additional bedroom with bunk beds, there is also the option of a pull out trundle bed underneath the bunk beds. On the ground floor there is a generous sitting/dining room and the beautiful refitted kitchen is well equipped with everything you need for this self-catering stay. The kitchen opens out to a lovely sheltered conservatory.
Outside, there is an enclosed courtyard with seating to enjoy the last of the evening sun.
The cottage benefits from being just a 20 minute walk to two lovely beaches so you can truly enjoy the stunning Norfolk coast. The shops, a bakery, restaurant/takeaway and, of course, a fish and chip shop are within short walking distance, so you’ll have everything right on your doorstep for a relaxing break away from home.
Parcel Cottage used to be the village Post Office - see if you can spot the old photos around the cottage! Heacham is a thriving coastal village with welcoming residents and two great beaches, nominated north and south that actually face west which affords world class, beautiful sunsets all year round. The flat sands and calm waters are a magnet for people who like activities such as kite surfing or windsurfing and other outdoor pursuits or for those who prefer to take it easy, relaxing on the beach. Heacham is also home to the famous Norfolk Lavender Farm, which includes a great farm shop showcasing local produce.
There is plenty for everyone to do along the North Norfolk Coast! Hunstanton and Old Hunstanton have incredible cliffs which are also a great spot for fossil hunting and rock pooling! There are RSPB Reserves at Titchwell and Snettisham which attract bird watchers all year round but particularly in the autumn & winter months when many birds migrate to this part of Norfolk. Becoming known as the Royal coast, don't forget a visit to the Royal Estate at Sandringham which is a short drive away, or visit some of the other coastal towns and villages with their breath-taking beaches. One visit is never enough to discover it all!
